My resignation...

 on Monday the 4th of July is submitted by intent of resignation to the Principal.... and hopefully by the end of October, I should be finishing off with my stint in SAINTGITS

 Hopefully this will be a great 2022.... 

to update, we started living in the new home from Nov 13th, happy to own a house at last and loads of extra responsibilities 

Starlet is officially now Dr. Starlet Ben Alex and am so proud of her

met Athira after a long time and was so happy to see her in person. I m missing them so much and now that Anu has also gone to US after Vijith means I don't tend to meet them more often. 

 unnu came home after a long gap and Korah loves being in company of Tara and we had a nice staycation for a weekend at Taj Greencove in Kovalam and it was a welcome break after almost 15 months of tension 

Hopefully will be having a great year ahead 

 today is 25th October, its been an eventful month lots of downs than ups..... I was planning to start living in my new house at Kottayam on October 18th but i was contacted on Covid on previous Saturday and had to postpone the whole event. Here i am now at Trivandrum almost recovering from the virus. Though Korah and Starlet was also affected the symptoms and other difficulties were bare minimum thanks to God.... 

This is the status of the house till date.... hopefully will get to live in the house by the start of next month. 

David is planning to come for a month's vacation by November. Hopefully everything will be back in track with my life 

June 7th 2021...

 70 that's the magical number for the day.... Pappa turned 70 today... my superhero...strongest and coolest person to me in this world..... 

its been a tough week for me.. Pappa was diagnosed with a ruptured C5 vertebrae for which he has undergone a surgery and currently he is doing all the tests for a suspected myeloma. Praying that everything goes fine...

2021....

 I know how big a lazy bum I am...  but I guess that's me!!! 

end of March.... house work going on 👉👉👉.. stage wise it looks little slow but lots of hiccups in between and cleared it out one by one and hopefully wants to complete it by end of May. 

Pappa and Mumma got the first dose of the Covishield Vaccine on March first week, so far so good... 

to job side, my 2020 ended with a bit of surprises. I was planning to move on to new phase of my life by 2022 but seems God wants me to stay in SAINTGITS a bit longer. I was given more of administrative jobs as our Registrar had left the institution and was asked to cover for him. For the time being no changes in designation or pay, but a new challenge beckons.. I was hesitant to accept it but on consultation with Hari sir decided to go for it. Its been almost 3 months, taking only baby strides but hopefully will be able to push forward. So I guess it will be a busy and adventurous 2021 for me.

November .... almost end of 2020

 phew.... we are nearing the end of the great 2020.... yesterday was mumma's 66th birthday.... had some food delivered for dinner and a cake.. 

back to what's happened with the last month, it been a hectic one... was more at work place with working almost all weekdays.... had to stay alone at Kottayam and travelling back to TVM on weekends. Arun was travelling with me as he was hesitant to use public transport during this pandemic situation. Travelled to EKM in between for a day related to Hari sir's site and office work. Had lunch with Linish and Arun after long time. Emotionally was a challenging month which made me realize i was getting old. 

About the house construction, we completed the ground floor structure and VP has started the scaffolding part for the roof slab....hopefully will be doing the concreting work this week

longgg lonnnnnngggg time......

 when did I last post something here????.... it been almost a decade that I posted something here.... somehow or another this diary keeping was erased off my list of things to do. Somehow today I remembered I used to write down something in a blog and at last found it. It was fun reading the things I wrote and how life unfolded it after that. I turned 40 on June and I guess

To update on what happened to me after 2010, 

1. I am still working with SAINTGITS, - had a roller coaster ride professionally with couple of promotions, charge of the Civil department for couple of years, then academic coordinator, 2 successful NBS inspections and have seen the department and institute grow with me 
2. happily married and have a son Korah - he is 8 years now. decided to name him after my Dad in accordance with the family lines. 
   
   
   
3. financially have had many mishaps - unsuccessful attempt to buy an apartment and took till last year to overcome that, Going in for the second attempt - bought a 5 cents land and drawn a plan by myself and started to build 
4. have started a new venture with Hari sir - mentor friend big brother and i don't know what all, hopefully I can turn this into a full time job in due time  

The world is amidst a pandemic COVID19 - no one know from where and how it started and when it will be over. New terms and accessories have been introduced in common man's life. 

This is all for now. Hopefully I will try to add more post at least once in a month to keep this going....
